It’s finally time to tackle the Room of Doom! This tiny spare bedroom has slowly become the place where everything gets dumped, the door gets closed and I pretend the mess isn’t there. But after putting it off for far too long, I’m finally clearing it out and starting a complete small bedroom makeover.

In today’s video, I’m decluttering the spare room, clearing out years of accumulated stuff and rethinking how this tiny space could actually work for me. The double bed takes up almost the entire room, so instead of keeping a traditional guest bedroom that rarely gets used, I want to create a cosy multifunctional space that can work as both a guest room and a creative craft room.

I’m sharing my plans and mood board for the makeover, chatting through small bedroom layout ideas and trying to solve the biggest problem of all, what on earth do I do about the bed? I had my heart set on an IKEA daybed, until I realised just how enormous it would be in this little room!

This is only the beginning of the transformation. Next up, there’s old flooring to rip out, wallpaper to strip, decorating to tackle and plenty of DIY before I can start bringing my cosy blue, cream and green vision to life.
