DIY: Make Your Own Candleholders with Wax Atelier’s Porcelain Stems
Plant a porcelain stem into a piece of cake, or, perhaps a beautiful head of cabbage, and voilà: a sculptural candleholder is born. The simple cone-shaped candle cups are a collaboration between Remodelista favorite Wax Atelier of east London and German-French ceramic artist Anja Miau whose studio is in the south of France.
The concept is simple enough that we’re inspired to try making our own—except, of course, that these candle stems have lovely little details that aren’t easily replicated. Come take a look.
