Hi all! Today I’m going to be decorating for spring with this fun little living room refresh! I’ve been wanting to put out some new spring home decor, but the weather in California has been so wet and gloomy! Well, we finally got a little bit of sun and I wasn’t about to waste the opportunity!

I always try to use what I have in my home before buying new items, so I used a vase and added preserved florals that I got from Hobby Lobby. I needed one more, which I found inexpensively, to give the vase more filler.

Given the shaky economic times, I am trying to save more money and be more budget-conscious. Instead of buying brand-new pillows, I found a pillow cover on Amazon that I really liked. Although the insert was not great, it was still cheaper than buying all-new spring pillows. I added a cream and cozy throw to the couch to create texture and add another color.

I recently found out that my local Tuesday Morning store is closing, so I decided to check out their sales. I ended up finding two beautiful rugs: the Olive and Charcoal, which I have used before and love, and an off-brand rug with a lot of blue and purple that I thought would look great for spring.

I also did some quick changes to my coffee table by adding a basket, some old marble links, a new candle, and a Rattan little tray from Target. With a little bit of rearranging, my home feels refreshed and revitalized. I still need to find a rug for one of the spaces, but I am taking my time to find the right one.
