Remodelista Reconnaissance: Brass Candle Sconces in an Editor’s Flat

In this week’s Tips on Transforming an Unimaginative Rental, Courtesy of a Design Editor, Nell took a look inside the rented Bloomsbury apartment of Gabby Deeming, former creative director of House and Garden. Among the many charming flourishes Gabby added to make the place her own, we were taken by one detail in particular….

Lookalikes can be found by searching the keywords “brass fan-shaped candle sconces” online; there are a slew of offerings, like the antique 1920s Art Deco Brass Fan Shaped Candlestick Wall Sconces from 1stDibs shown here (now sold) and the similar Brass Fan-Shaped Sconces ($30.60) from HappyVintageStudio on Etsy.

And some non-vintage lookalikes? The Anthropologie Leaf Sconce ($28), the Kalalou Brass Palm Leaf Candle Sconce ($35.15), the Sir/Madam Quatrefold Candle Sconce ($88), and the Ripple Brass Wall Sconce ($69.95) from CB2.
