Inspirations

There are some interiors that are so distinctive, there’s no recreating them with off-the-shelf sources. In truth, the Jackson Heights apartment of creative director Matthew Axe, is one of them. With a home decorated over years (“I like the furnishings to build as time goes by,” says Axe) and full of vintage and antiques, the apartment is appealing in its uniqueness. We have, however, sourced a series of similar options to pick and choose from the favorite elements of Axe’s design that might integrate well into our own spaces.
