Get Inspired: Unique Spanish-Mission Style Kitchen Design

Another view of the kitchen.

The kitchen features a custom-built island with aged brass legs. The island is topped with a thick slab of Calacatta Viola marble. The floor is a machine-honed terrazzo floor that is a similar color to the oak veneer cabinetry.

The mostly neutral kitchen has a surprise pop of color. The designers went with a blue Moroccan Zellige tile backsplash for a more romantic touch.

What Makes This Kitchen Spanish Mission Style?

There are a few key elements that make a design Spanish-mission style. The space includes ornately carved details, rounded arches, and plaster finishes. Designs can feature stucco finishes as well.
