This week’s highlights? Editors tour a historic house on Cape Cod and a chef’s garden in Brooklyn, plus art openings and, everywhere, nods to nostalgic summers past.

• Opening today at Corey Daniels Gallery in Wells, Maine: new ceramics work by 13 artists, as well as sculptures and paintings by Jeff Kellar. There’s a reception this evening, July 9, from 5-7 p.m., and both exhibits will be on view through August 6. Stop in.
