Joybird offers white-glove delivery (home delivery, directly into the right room in your home) for this sofa, which is easy to reconfigure in the future. Each section attaches together using alligator clips on the underside of each piece.  

‍Our rating: 4/5 stars. The Bryant is moderately customizable and is the only one out of these options with a detached seat cushion strapped onto a deep block unit.

The Bondi Collection by Inside Weather‍

The Bondi Collection was designed to be highly modular, spacious, and plush. Inside Weather also has over 400 fabric options that you can choose from, and they will send you free swatches to see in person before you buy. This was definitely a plus in our book!

Each element of the Bondi sofa is identical, making each piece very versatile. For example, a single block can be either an ottoman, a corner section, a left arm section, or a right arm. To create these different module types with any block, simply attach the back and arms where you would like them to be. 

Removable sofa arms and backs are surprisingly hard to come by, so they’re an element that makes the Bondi collection stand out from all the rest! It’s really easy to move these blocks into another position when you feel like changing it up.

The Tatum Collection by Interior Define

The Tatum Collection is Interior Define’s most modular sofa. There are three types of units that make up the collection: the ottoman, the armless module, and the corner module. If you need a little extra storage, they have a storage ottoman option that has identical dimensions to the regular ottoman. 

It’s important to note that the corner module can be a left or right arm unit, which enables flexibility for versatile configurations. The Tatum is sold in pre-configured units, or you can buy individual units in order to design the best sofa to fit your needs. Each piece can stand alone or be easily connected to another module using alligator clips.

Our rating: 3.5/5 stars. The Tatum is a moderately modular sofa and the only one out of these five collections with a storage ottoman option.

The Solae Collection by Article

The Solae Collection is one of Article’s most popular modular sofas. It’s available in nine different types of units, or you can purchase one of their premade configurations. Each unit is designed to either stand alone or be combined with other units. 

The assembly is super simple. Just connect each unit with rubber bands that are included with the sofa. The ottoman and the armless chair modules are the most versatile part of this collection because they can be used in any position within a given configuration. The other units such as the corner unit, left arm unit, and the right arm unit can only be used in those particular positions when attached to other modules.

‍Our rating: 3/5 stars. The Solae has a beautifully modern design but is only mildly modular.

The Infina Collection by Poly & Bark

The Infina Collection is a modular sofa with six different types of units that can be arranged into a variety of configurations. Their unit options include an ottoman, armless chaise, armless sofa, a corner module, a right arm lounge sofa, and a left arm lounge sofa. The corner module can be used as a right or left arm section. 

Infina modular sofas also come with one small lumbar cushion on each section. This cushion is the only removable cushion on the sofa. To connect the sections together, simply slide a metal peg into a grooved connector. The instructions make it easy.

Our rating: 3/5 stars. The Infina is only mildly modular, but it is the only one out of these options to have unique right and left arm chaise lounge sofas.
