Well here’s everything I did for my 7-months old Niece’s Nursery Room Makeover –

✨ GINGHAM CHECKS ON A WALL✨
The room definitely lacked colour, Buffalo Checks are a great way to amp up an accent wall for a kids room 👨‍👩‍👧Aur aaj kal sabko pastels chahiye so my immediate first choice was JK MAXX Majesta Paints because they have a whole palette of rich sheen pastels. And right now they have #RangMeinHaiVishwas series going on their page, so you can participate in the contests there and enjoy exciting prizes 🏆

The process is simple, 3 layers mein paint lagane hai (horizontal, vertical and then intersectional). Choose a colour family & go for 3 shades (light to dark). Use leveller and good quality masking tapes here, I took 4 inch square size.

✨SCALLOP BORDER ✨
To make the wall more pinteresty, aap MDF use kar sakte ho, 6 to 10 mm and give a scallop border. Use wood filler at joints, 2 coats of primer and then paint.

✨ CLOUDS ☁️
I wanted to have 2 clouds for that extra dimension. Used my white bouclé fabric from my previous DIY, you can also use white felt or fur. First you take a MDF cutout in desired shape, on top goes foam, fir spray glue se fabric stick karo and just staple it all over.

✨ HOT AIR BALLOONS 🎈

✨ ARCHED FLOATING SHELF ✨
There were arch cutouts parked in my sister’s basement from her previous interior work. So maine ek pe same gingham patter banaya, added a plank aur laga diya wall pe with decor pieces.

Aur kuch aise ho jaata hai humara makeover COMPLETE ! Now I just hope when Amaya grows up, she’s low-key proud of her MAMA 😜
