My 2 Bedroom Apartment Tour and how I decorated on a tight budget!-A new fresh start at 65! Me and Desi moved into a bigger apartment in the hills of Western Michigan. After 8 years I was very scared to move…I was used to where I was…but the new place was bigger with a balcony…a garage, an office, dishwasher and pantry…it would cost more per month but still, it was affordable. I bought 6 new pieces of furniture all through the Walmart.com site. What I have grown to love most of all is the sound of the woods…it is so peaceful here and I have been able to write music for the first time in years. The apartment comes in at about 920 square feet.I will have some rooms painted, order a new sofa and a few other things next spring. But what fun we will have thrifting and buying great items to decorate the empty spaces! I missed everybody so much while I was moving but truly felt I had you all cheering me on…there were some scary moments…the movers accidentally charged me twice! There was a mix up on my move-in date! And at the last minute, I was informed I have to pay monthly rent for Desi!!! But all and all, it was a flawless move wher nothing broke, and Desi and I settled in from day 1.
I think moving truly is the most exciting wonderful misery known to women!!!
